Measurements

A) Head Circumference

Making sure your measuring tape is level, measure around your forehead and just about the ears.

B) Neck Circumference

Measure around the base of your neck near the collar bones.

C) Shoulder to Shoulder

Lift your arm up and down, find the point at which the arm starts to move. There should be a bone near that location. Measure from this bone to the same bone on the other side, across the back of your neck.

D) Shoulder to Elbow

Use the shoulder bone you found in the previous measurement and measure to the tip of your elbow. You may need help with this measurement.

E) Armpit

Starting from the shoulder bone you found earlier, travel down around to the base of your armpit. If you need help, put on a well fitting T-shirt and measure to the point the shoulder seam meets the sleeve seam. Do not make this measurement too tight.

F) Length from the back of the neck to beltline

Bend your head forward. You should feel a bump at the top of your spine. Straighten your head. Measure straight down from this bump to where your belt lies on your sides (but keep the measuring tape along your back). For most people, this is somewhere between your waist and your hips. You may need help with this measurement.

G) Length from the back of the neck to knee

Using the bump you found in the previous measurement, measure straight down from this bump to the crease in your knee. Do not bend over to take this measurement; you will need help with this measurement. Your tunic will rest a couple inches higher than your knee without your belt on, so please do not shorten this measurement.

H) Length from the back of the neck to mid calf

Use the directions for the Length from the back of the neck to knee, except go past the knee to half way between your ankle and your knee. If you wish your coat to be longer, measure to your ankle. The final coat should be about 3" shorter than this measurement after putting your belt over it.

I) Chest

Puff up your chest to make it as large as possible. Measure across the widest point. Make sure you tape remains level with the ground. Women, measure across your bust. You may need help with this measurement.

J) Waist

Make yourself as fat as possible. Measure across the widest point. Make sure you tape remains level with the ground. You may need help with this measurement.

K) Hips

With your feet shoulder width apart, measure across the widest point of your butt. Make sure you tape remains level with the ground. You may need help with this measurement.
